Ranfone Training Systems

 

Specializing in sports-performance, corrective exercise, strength and conditioning, injury rehab, and manual therapy (including Active Release Technique, also known as A.R.T.), the Ranfone Training Systems philosophy is to develop a complete and well-rounded athlete capable of competing at their fullest potential.

 

    We strongly believe in fitting the training to the client, not the client to the training, and therefore do not offer group “classes” in which everyone performs the same workout.  Our highly-supervised Semi-Private training environment ensures a coach-to-client ratio of no more than 4-to-1.  This enables us to properly coach and instruct each individual through their own personalized programming for the session.

 

   Training programs are highly individualized and designed to meet the specific needs and goals of each client.  Our 5-step approach encompassing Strength, Speed, Agility, Flexibility, and Conditioning guarantees that every area of development is addressed.  A thorough evaluation procedure utilizing the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), testing and re-testing are implemented in order to ensure both the program and individual are progressing in the desired direction.  All of our coaches are Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) under the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

 

ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT

 

   The Ranfone Training Systems athletic development model encompasses a general-to-specific philosophy.  Without a solid foundation from which to build, an athlete's development will eventually become severely hampered, leading to decreased performance and even possibly injury.  Each individualized program focuses on the essentials of athletic development: strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and conditioning.  Each of these is a skill that must be practiced and trained, with the weakest areas garnering the majority of focus.  The end result is an athlete that will dominate the competition through superior training and preparation.

 

INJURY REHABILITATION

 

   Most injuries should not condemn a person to a life of disfunction and/or pain.  At Ranfone Training Systems, our extensive network of health care professionals (including orthopedic surgeons, physical  therapists, and chiropractors) enables us to carefully manage a client's path back to full function.  Whether you're an athlete coming off of an ACL-repair surgery, or someone who's experiencing chronic back pain, we're confident that we can help you improve both performance and pain level.

 

MANUAL THERAPY

 

   Manual soft tissue therapy is an important aspect of both recovery and treatment, areas that are of major importance for performance and function.  Proper soft tissue quality and function will ensure there are no restrictions that could interfere with one's ability to perform.  We use a number of techniques and modalities including Active Release Technique (ART), deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Active Isolated Strectching (AIS), and many more.
